SuperSKa Picturegallery is designed to be able to add an easy-to-use picture gallery to your DotNetNuke portal. Your users could have your gallery up and running within minutes. The free version has been topping the charts at Snowcovered for several weeks back when DotNetNuke 3 first came out. Around september 2005 we released version 2: Picture Gallery Pro. This version also tuyrned out to be a very popular picture gallery module. It introduced support for up to thousands of pictures per gallery, and later on we introduced the option to enter a description per picture.

August 2006 brings us version 3 of the SuperSKa Picture Gallery. This version uses a great new feature of DotNetNuke version 3.2.2 and above: AJAX. What's that you might ask? Well, essentially it makes your site a lot faster for your visitors, because they don't need to reload the whole page anymore, after clicking a thumbnail.
Because we've used DotNetNuke's built-in library to achieve this, you do not need to install any other third party components. And this version adds more exciting new features:
- import existing files into the picture gallery;
- use DotNetNuke's Export and Import features to take a full gallery including picture to another portal;
- auto-sorting: configure how your gallery must be sorted and new pictures will automaticly find their place.

Version 3 has been extended several times, but in june 2008, there's finally a version 4. This one is the first DNN4-only version of the module.
